PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete sound insulating wall excellent in sound insulating effect, and to dispense with a withdrawing work in a formwork in the case of construction. SOLUTION: A sound insulating wall 8 is erected on an elevated foundation 6 and composed of a concrete wall 12 and a sound absorbing panel 10 unitedly attached to its front face. An adjacent sound absorbing panel 10 is attached at its end through a connecting metal fitting. Since the sound absorbing panel 10 is used as a placing form for the concrete wall 12, and after hardening of concrete, its removement is unnecessary, and at the same time as the hardening of concrete, the sound insulating wall 8 where the sound insulating panel 10 is joined to the surface of the concrete wall 12 is constructed.
