PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an MRA image in a non-invasive manner without administering contrast media and shorten photographing time greatly by providing a scan means for imaging executing pulse sequence for three-dimensional scan in synchronization with a signal indicating a cardiac time phase per every slice encode. SOLUTION: When a sequencer receives a command for starting image scan, it starts reading of an ECG signal and judges the predetermined n-th appearance of a peak value of R wave in the ECG signal from an ECG trigger signal synchronized with the peak value. When the predetermined n-th R wave appears, the sequencer performs the processing for waiting for a set delay time TDL. This delay time TDL is optimized to a value excelling in a draw function of its entity by increasing the intensity of an echo signal to the most when a blood stream and tissue are photographed by a scan for preparation. The sequencer executes image scan using a time when the optimum delay time TDL elapses as the optimum electrocardiographic synchronization timing.
