PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve maintenance operability and save arrangement space of extension pumps. SOLUTION: In a cylinder block, a pair of rotary shafts are parallely arranged in the vicinity of each other, integrally with a rotary shaft. The cylinder blocks are connected to each other while gear mechanisms are arranged on the respective outer peripheral portions. Double pumps are simultaneously driven by transmitting torque to the one of the rotary shafts through the gear mechanisms, which torque is supplied from a rotary driving mechanism to the other rotary shafts. A casing of such a swash plate type double piston pump is surrounded by a housing at its swash plate, side, and by a cover 44 at its side of a port plate. In such a multiple piston pump, extension pumps 60a, 60b are attached to certain portions of the cover 44 on extended lines of the rotary shafts. The pumps 60a, 60b are driven by the rotary shafts of the double piston pump which are arranged in the vicinity of each other.
