PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balancer device for a power plant capable of suppressing vibration due to inertia force F generated in an engine on an engine mount part at one side of a crank shaft high in its serviceability to stuffy sound in a vehicle compartment and reducing the weight of a balance shaft. SOLUTION: A distance L2 from the center of gravity 18 of a power plant 13 to the center 20 of inertia force generated by a balance shaft 16 is set to be longer than a distance L1 from the center of gravity 18 of the power plant 13 to the center 19 of an engine (center of inertia force generated by the engine) (L2>L1). Assuming that the inertia force generated by the engine 1 is F, a distance from the center of gravity 18 of the power plant 13 to a mount part 10 is L3, the inertia monent of the power plant 13 is I, and the weight of the power plant 13 is (m), the inertia force FB generated by a balance shaft is obtained by the following formula, FB=[(I+m.L1.L3)/(I+m.L2.L3)].F.
