PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the application range of a device whose vibration is prevented and to prevent a vibration-proof function from being deteriorated even when a large load is exerted thereon by providing a complete vibration- proof function relative to all vibrations in vertical, horizontal and circumferential directions. SOLUTION: This vibration-proof device 1 comprises a first case 2 disposed in a lower part, a second case 3 disposed in an upper part, a cushioning member 4 disposed between both the cases 2 and 3, a ball body 5 provided between both the cases 2 and 3 and mounted on the first case 2 so as to freely roll and a journal part 6 for supporting the ball body 5 to support a load exerted on the second case 3 from the upper part by the cushioning member 4 and the ball body 5. When the load is not exerted on the second case 3, the cushioning member 4 supports the second case 3 to form a clearance M1 between the ball body 5 and the second case 3. When a prescribed or more load is exerted on the second case 3, the cushioning member 4 may be pressed to decrease height and the ball body 5 may abut on the second case 3. Each journal part 6 may be composed of a support surface formed with a recessed curved surface and a circular wall part.
