METHOD FOR OPERATION COAL PULVERIZER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely discharge remaining coal after an emergency stop of a mill and lower installation cost required for treatment of the remaining coal. SOLUTION: After an emergency stop of a mill a pulverizer table 16 is rotated at a speed lower than that during pulverizing operation by using an adjustable speed motor 33 so that remaining coal 29 on the pulverizer table 16 is made to fall from a throat 27 into an air chamber 26 through a centrifugal force, and then the remaining coal 29 is discharged from an opening of the air chamber 26 into a foreign matter box 31 by a pyrite plow 30 and conveyed to a specified location by means of a pyrite treatment device 32 effecting periodic conveyance.
