<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-exchange element realizing high heat-exchange efficiency, a dehumidifying rotor and a dehumidifier. SOLUTION: Heat-transmitting fins 16, 17, 18 and 19 are respectively connected to the opposed ends 14a, 14b, 15a and 15b of the p- and n-type semiconductors 14 and 15 connected to each other and producing the Peltier effect. All the fins form a columnar shape with the axes 12 of rotation as the center. The fins 16 to 19 are made of a conductor and carrying a moisture absorbent. A current is applied to the circuit C1 or C2 through both semiconductors 14 and 15. The fins 17 and 19 (or 16 and 18) positioned in an air passage B1 on the treated side absorb heat, and the fins 16 and 18 (or 17 and 19) positioned in an air passage R liberate heat. The moisture is moved to the air passage R on the regeneration side from the air passage B1 as the dehumidifying rotor 5 rotates. The temp. difference between the heat- transmitting fin and air on the heat absorbing side can be increased in the high-temp. region.</p> |
