PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan fixing device having a simple structure and manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: In this fan fixing device formed by directly connecting a fan 6 to a motor shaft 2, a shaft hole 8 formed in the boss part 7 of the fan 6 is penetrated through the motor shaft 2 so that one end surface of the boss part 7 can abut to an abutting part, a recessed part 9 into which a polygonal fixing metal fitting 12 equipped with a D cut hole through which a D cut part 3 formed in the motor shaft 2 is penetrated is fitted is formed in the other end surface of the boss part 7, the motor shaft 2 is penetrated through the shaft hole 8 so as to abut one end surface to the abutting part, a nut 14 is tightened to a male screw formed on the motor shaft 2, and the nut 14 is received by the fixing metal fitting 12, thereby the fan 6 is fixed on the motor shaft 2.
