PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible elastic watertight cover applicable to an upward or downward covered body, whereas it is merely one part, and a waterproof structural body using it. SOLUTION: This is a waterproof structural body consisting of a covered body 10 having a barrel part 40 wherein an atmospheric release opening 50 is formed, and a reversible elastic watertight cover 60 detachably attached to this covered body 10. Even if this elastic raintight cover 60 is attached to the barrel part 40 of the upper covered body 10 in a state of being unreversed, as well as it is attached to the barrel part 40 of the downward covered body 10 in a reversed state, a sealing space S is formed in a gap with the barrel part 40, the atmospheric release opening 50 is interconnected to the atmosphere via the sealing space S and a flange 68 in the other end located to the lower end or a vent hole 78 or 76 of another flange out of one end.
