PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a creamy cleansing cosmetic capable of removing even oily foulings while having a mild feeling of use by including a polyoxyethylene adduct to a glycerol ester of a fatty acid. SOLUTION: This cosmetic is obtained by including (A) 1-20 wt.%, preferably 5-15 wt.% of a polyoxyethylene adduct to a glycerol ester of a fatty acid having preferably 5-20 number of mol of added polyoxyethylene and, as necessary, (B) hydrocarbons, esters, triglycerides, higher alcohols, fatty acids, polyhydric alcohols, surfactants, thickeners, preservatives, ultraviolet light absorbers, antioxidants, coloring matters, powders, etc. In the creamy cosmetic for cleaning, a pottasium soap of a fatty acid is usually used as a principal component for cleaning; however, a sodium soap of the fatty acid or a basic amino acid soap of the fatty acid can be used if the soap is in a creamy form.
