PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling device which can fully compensate an output torque of an engine without delay when an air-fuel ratio of a feed air-fuel mixture changes in a hybrid drive vehicle equipped with an internal combustion engine and a generator-motor as a vehicle drive source. SOLUTION: When an air-fuel trio of a feed air-fuel mixture for an engine is detected to have changed to the lean side, a generator-motor is immediately actuated as a motor for assisting an output of the engine, and when the air-fuel ratio of the feed air-fuel mixture is detected to have changed to the rich side, the generator-motor is immediately actuated as a generator for regenerative braking.
