<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the attaching direction of a lock mechanism and the operation direction of a key, not making hindrance in using a bicycle and safely use it in a handle lock capable of locking a handle at a turn position and an arbitrary angular position. SOLUTION: A lock ring 5 disposing a notch part 6 is fixed on a peripheral face in response to the turn position and the arbitrary angular position of a handle in a handle post inserted and rotatably pivoted in a fitting cylinder 1. A lock case 7 is vertically provided along the outside of the fitting cylinder 1, a cylinder lock mechanism 11 facing a key hole 12 on the upper end is fitted to the inside of the lock case 7, a rotary lever 15 is fitted to an angular shaft provided with the lower end of the lock mechanism 11, a pin 17 provided with the lower end of the lever 15 is engaged with a locking rod 18 laterally slidably provided on the bottom part of the lock case 7, and a lateral projection by attaching of the lock mechanism 11 is made the minimum and the operation direction of a key 12 is vertically changed by engaging the lock lever 18 with the notch part of the lock ring 5.</p> |
