<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corner fitting member having high fitting strength and easy to fit at a corner portion of a corridor or a staircase and provide a handrail joint provided with it. SOLUTION: A leg section 40 penetrating the wall material 91 of a corner section is provided on the back side of a fitting member main body 10, a coupling recess 41 coupled with the angular section of a pillar 92 arranged on the back side of the corner section is formed at the tip of the leg section 40, and the fitting member main body 10 is fitted to the pillar 92 by a fitting bolt 43 penetrating the leg section 40 while preventing the drift with the pillar 92.
