PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject non-toxic cleaning agent, enabling clearing residual warm water after used for bathing, reuse of the residual warm water as washing water and help of cleaning bathtubs by using aluminum sulfate or alum. SOLUTION: This cleaning agent is such one as to be used for cleaning residual warm water and cleaning bathtubs and includes (A) aluminum sulfate or (B) alum. It is preferable that 20-60 ml of the component A- or B-saturated water or 5-20 g of the component A or B in the form of powder is added to 200 ml of warm water. The component B acts so as to brace the skin and is also effective against rough dry skin. Furthermore, the component A or B coats the surface of bathtubs to make the dirt less sticky and acts so as to sink the fur in residual warm water to clear the residual warm water. Thus, the component A or B can serve the following four roles; bath preparation, clearing agent, water conservation and cleaning agent.
