PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polycarbonate resin compsn. combining the moldability, antistatic property, impact resistance, and heat resistance. SOLUTION: A resin compsn. contains a polycarbonate having a phenolic end group concn. of 5 mole% or more and a carbon material of 1-50 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the polycarbonate. As the carbon material usable is, for example, a short and curved carbon fiber having an average fiber length of 0.1-1 mm and an average aspect ratio of 40-100. The polycarbonate has a viscosity- average mol.wt. of about 18,000-40,000 and a mol.wt. distribution of about 1.8-3.5. Such a polycarbonate can be obtained by melt-polycondensing an aromatic dihydroxy compd. and a carbonate diester in the presence of a basic ester- interchanging catalyst, e.g. a nitrogen-contg. basic compd.
