PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel for fishing not breaking electricity or not causing error operation of a yarn length-measuring device even if impact is applied to a reel body. SOLUTION: A holding member 4 holding a printed circuit boards 28 is attached to the outside of side frame 1a of a reel body A by a screw which is not illustrated. A liquid crystal plate 22 is connected to the printed circuit board 28 by a film cable 32 and battery terminals 33 and 34 are protruded onto the side of the reel side plate 2 of the printed circuit boards 28 and a source battery 36 for operation of an electronic equipment is provided through an elastomer 35 such as sponge having a double-sided adhesive tape on the side of reel side plate 2 of the printed circuit board 28, and an elastomer 37 such as sponge having a double-sided adhesive tape is inserted between a source battery 36 and the inner surface 2b of the reel side plate 2. The elastomer 35 is formed in ring-like shape so as to avoid (+) battery terminal 33. The housing part E of the source battery 36 exists in a space between the printed circuit boards 28 and the reel side plate 2.
