PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester woven fabric optimal for uses requiring to simultaneously have a cooling touch, a tense and stiff touch and a natural irregular touch, such as casual pants for midsummer. SOLUTION: The polyester woven fabric having a special touch uses folded yarns as warps and/or wefts. Each of the folded yarns is prepared by doubling an interlaced polyester multifilament yarn A with a polyester multifilament yarn B in such a doubling number as giving a twist multiplier of 13,000-26,000 expressed by the equation: twist multiplier = [the square root of (DA+DB)]×doubling number (T/m). Therein, DA is the denier of the polyester multifilament yarn A, and DB is the denier of the polyester multifilament yarn B. The interlaced polyester multifilament yarn A consists mainly of filaments each having a Y-shaped tri-lobar type single filament cross section shape having a modified cross section degree of 2.5-3.5, and has a stress of 0.9-1.4 g/d on an elongation of 5% and an interlacement degree of 5-80 interlaced points/m. The polyester multifilament yarn B consists mainly of filaments each having a circular hollowed cross section, and has a thick-and-thin irregularity of 15-70% in the filament axial direction.
