摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronizing device for a transmission, which prevents the occurrence of faulty operations in the transmission due to the inclination of an index block by letting the index block to be engaged with the engaging groove of a clutch hub in such a way as to be freely slid, be engaged therewith in the radial direction in the inside of the engaging groove. SOLUTION: An index block 26 is engaged with an engaging groove 25 formed in the outer circumferential part of a clutch hub while being separated in the circumferential direction in such a way as to be freely slid. Paired recessed groove parts 32 are formed in the engaging groove 25 in a state that they are depressed in the circumferential direction, and a projected part 42 to be engaged with the recessed groove parts 32, is formed in the index block 26. The engagement of the outer side engaging surface 43 of the projected part 42 with the inner side engaging surface 33 of the recessed groove parts 32, thereby allows the index block 26 to be subjected to outward force in the radial direction due to centrifugal force when a sleeve is moved, to be regulated in displacement in the radial direction, so that the occurrence of faulty operations in a synchronizing device can thereby be prevented.
