PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for ink jet recording head having simple process and excellent in workability in which defective ejection of ink drop and loss of straight advance performance can be prevented. SOLUTION: A resin coating agent 2 dispersed with water repellent fine powder is applied onto the surface of a flat resin board 1 and cured to form a water repellent resin film 5. The resin board 1 is then bored to form ejection nozzles 7, 8 thus obtaining an ink jet recording head.
