RECIPROCATING SAW

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating saw wherein both saw blades are hardly deformed and have small frictional resistance and can perform smooth cutting operation. SOLUTION: In a reciprocating saw wherein a pair of saw blades 3 are closely projected from a tool main body 2 in which a driving mechanism 1 is built and both saw blades 3 are connected with the driving mechanism 1 in such a way that they reciprocate in the longer direction and in the opposite direction each other, a belt-like core plate 4 is placed between both saw blades 3 and the base end part of this belt-like core plate 4 is fixed on the toot main body 2 and a slide supporting part 5 for connecting and supporting both saw blades 3 in the neighborhood of the apex of the belt-like core plate 4 under freely sliding condition is provided.
