摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable range limit device for robot which can attain partial limit of the movable range of a robot without causing a change in the structure of the robot and which is more advantageous in a space, cost, and operating rate of the robot. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a controller capable of conducting the partial limit of the movable range of a palletizing robot 30 based on a detection signal from the first to sixth optical sensors (optical axes 42 to 47), wherein the controller includes a function of switching the detection signals from the optical sensors between 'effective' and 'ineffective' as necessary, thus it is possible to optionally-limit the movable range of the robot according to an installation space and optionally-change the movable range of the robot.
