PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain superior effects in the adhesiveness of a separation layer to a barrier layer, and recording sensitivity and a record-traveling property by incorporating self-emulsion polymerized acrylic resin and polyvinyl alcohol in the barrier layer. SOLUTION: A barrier layer containing self-polymerized acrylic resin and polyvinyl alcohol as aqueous resin is formed on the upper part of a thermal recording layer and there a separation layer is formed thereon, thus enhancing a release effect relative to an adhesive layer of the separation layer and obtaining an excellent effect in an adhesiveness of the separation layer to the barrier layer. In particular, barrier wall coating liquid obtained by blend-stirring a 500 pts. of 10% solution of acetoacetyl-modified polyvinyl alcohol, 80 pts. of nonionic self-emulsion polymerized acrylic latex, and 80 pts. of aqueous dispersion of 50% of kaolin is coated and dried on the thermal recording layer to be 3 g/m2 in after dry application quantity, and then a surface smoothing treatment is conducted by a super calender to form a barrier layer. |
