THERMOPLASTIC RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE WITH EXCELLENT ABRASION RESISTANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin molded article suitable as sliding members by improving the abrasion resistance which has been reduced by the addition of reinforcing fibers in fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resins. SOLUTION: The objective thermoplastic resin molded article is composed of a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin material comprising a reinforcing fiber- containing thermoplastic resin which further contains a material having a storage elastic modulus of 3.5×108 Pa-5.0×108 Pa in a service temperature range of 30 deg.C-70 deg.C as a sliding property-imparting agent. As the compounding ratio of the sliding property-imparting agent, it is suitable that the amount of the sliding property-imparting agent is 4-10 wt.% based on the total weight of the resin and the reinforcing fibers when the matrix resin is a polyamide based resin and 4-20 wt.% when the matrix resin is a thermoplastic resin other than the polyamide based resin. As the sliding property-imparting agent, a polytetrafluoroethylene is particularly preferred.
