PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make tilting-up speed of a marine vessel propulsion machine high regardless of the displacement of a pump by providing an accumulator for accumulating and holding an operating fluid discharged from the pump, at an operating fluid feed line between the pump and a selector valve. SOLUTION: A selector valve 23 is selected to set an up-operation mode of connecting an accumulator 54 to a lower chamber 34 and connecting an upper chamber 35 to a tank 53. An operating fluid accumulated and held in the accumulator 54 therefore enters the lower chamber 34 of a cylinder device 21 from a feed line 55 through an accumulator communicating port 77A and a lower chamber communicating port 77B, and an operating fluid in the upper chamber 35 of the cylinder device 21 is returned to the tank 53 from a return line 56 through an upper chamber communicating port 77D and a tank communicating port 77E to elongate the cylinder device 21. At this time, a larger quantity of operating fluid than the discharge of a pump 52 is force-fed to the lower chamber 34 of the cylinder device 21 by the accumulated pressure of the accumulator 54. Tilting-up speed can therefore be made high. |
