SOLUTION: A pulsation generating means is attached to an exhaust pipe 12 provided with a catalyst converter 13, and the pulsation is given to the exhaust emission flow when the adhesion quantity exceeds a specified limit, and desorption of HC or the like from a catalyst 13a is promoted by the mechanical or physical effect of the pulsating impulsive exhaust emission flow. The pulsation generating means includes a valve 25 for opening/closing the exhaust pipe to be operated by an actuator 26 for opening/closing the exhaust pipe, and a means to flow the exhaust emission in a pulsating manner in the reverse direction.
