PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly method of a control valve for a power steering device capable of improving a valve characteristic, etc. SOLUTION: A control valve 30 on which a seal ring 58 is fitted is inserted into an outer peripheral part after a cylindrical insertion guide jig 94 is installed on a step part 20 for a bearing pedestal of a valve storage part 12. Thereafter, the insertion guide jig 94 is removed, and a ball bearing, etc., are assembled. Consequently, the seal ring 58 is not damaged by being caught on an edge of the step part 20 for the bearing pedestal, and it is possible to smoothly assemble the control valve 30. Accordingly, it is possible to improve a valve characteristic of the control valve 30.
