PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve carrying efficiency by wounding a connecting member around a reinforcement crossing part, and connecting both ends of a connecting means with an elongating/shrinking member interposed at an intermediate part of the connecting member, thereby forming an elongatable reinforcement binding tool. SOLUTION: A reinforcement binding tool is formed of a steel wire 1 and rubber 2 being an elongatable member. Two of the wires 1 are inserted into holes of two cylindrical bodies made of rubber 2, and the wires 1 are bent at an almost central portion. In binding crossing portions of reinforcing bard B with this tool, the rubber members 2 are made to about on the deep side of the crossing portions so as to perform binding work before the side of the crossing portions. The steel wires 1 continuous to both ends of the rubber members 2 are pulled backward so that the tool is arranged slantly to bind the bars B as shown in the Figure. Then, open ends 9 are twisted to bind the crossing portions of the bars B. Accordingly, a sure binding is assured without cutting therein.
