PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall panel device capable of being installed on the same surface without generating a stepped section, following the quaking and movement of left-right buildings and being not damaged even when the buildings are quaked and moved and joint sections are enlarged and narrowed by an earthquake, etc., and being automatically returned to an original state when quaking and movement are stopped. SOLUTION: The wall panel device has one wall panel 5 having a support piece 14 rectangular to approximately the inside at a front end section covering one side of a joint section 2 rotatably installed to the outside through a hinge member to a building frame at the wall- surface site of one building of left-right buildings and the other wall panel 7 having contact piece 19 brought into contact with a building frame at the wall-surface site of the other building at an inner site than the central hinge member 6 while having a supporting piece 17 rectangular to approximately the inside at a rear end section covering the other side of the joint section 2 mounted so as to be turned to the inside through the central hinge member 6 at the front end section of the supporting piece 14 of one wall panel 5. The wall panel device is constituted of a wall-panel urging mechanism 8, in which one wall panel and the other wall panel are held on approximately the same surface at a normal time and one wall panel and the other panel can be rotated so that the central hinge member 6 is projected to the outside when the joint section 2 is narrowed.
