PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain milling apparatus wherein the function for removing bran from grains and the function for discharging the removed bran can be made compatible with each other and are enhanced. SOLUTION: A grain milling means for milling grains transferred between an inner peripheral surface of a bran removing cylinder N and an outer peripheral surface of a rotative member R is constituted by providing a brush type milling section BT having a brush in contact with surfaces of the grains and a face contact type milling section MT exhibiting a milling function by friction action or grinding action by a facelike receiving part brought into contact with the grains, and a ventilation means F for performing ventilation for the purpose of discharging bran separated from the grains through a multiple- perforated part 56b of the bran removing cylinder N is installed.
