PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a face guard for welding that enables an user to see outside directly from a viewing part when welding is not operated and to deter a welding light from coming into a viewing part when welding is being operated. SOLUTION: A viewing window 10 is set to the frontage of a mask's main body 3. A viewing part Y from which outside can be seen through a transparent board 13 and a dimming part X from which outside can be seen through a dimming plate 14 are divided by a dividing frame 20. As a rounding board 21 shutters viewing part Y so as to deter the welding light from coming in, the welding light cannot come inside the viewing window 10. The viewing part Y is opened by breathing out from a blowing pipe 24. From the viewing part Y, outward can be seen clearly. As breathing is stopped, the viewing part Y is shuttered again.
