PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform satisfactory lubrication of a frictional connection device without producing loss due to agitation of lubricating oil, which frictional connection device connects a cylinder block of an axial plunger type hydraulic unit to other members. SOLUTION: Lubricating oil is supplied from an oil supply means 24 into a rotary shaft 118 connecting a cylinder block 210. A lubricating oil passage 25 is formed inside the rotary shaft 118 for introducing the lubricating oil in the shaft into an inner peripheral space of the cylinder block 210. A lubricating oil passage 26 is formed in the cylinder block 210 for introducing the oil from the inner peripheral space to a frictional connection device 23.
