PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To interconnect a branch feed pipe raised vertically from under a floor and a metallic pipe arranged above the floor effectively only by works above the floor. SOLUTION: A branch feed pipe 21 of synthetic resin branches out from an underfloor feed pipe vertically until its upper end passes through a floor 23 where a fitting 10 is secured in place. The upper end of the branch feed pipe 21 is inserted in and glued to a branch-feed-pipe insertion part 11a in the lower half portion of a cylindrical fitting body 11 making up the fitting 10. The upper half portion of the fitting body 11 is a metallic-pipe insertion part 11b in which the lower end of a metallic pipe 22 laid above the floor 23 is inserted. The metallic-pipe insertion part 11b includes an internally threaded member 13 of metal into which an externally threaded portion 22a in the lower end of the metallic pipe 22 is screw connected.
