PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold release device for spherical moldings which is of a simple device structure and low-priced and free from an erroneous mold release action and the generation of the rejects of the spherical moldings. SOLUTION: Plural golf balls 2 are released from a split mold 1a, rotating out of cavities 3a by bringing a roller 16a which is displaced in an arrow A direction and at the same time, rotates in an arrow B1 direction into contact with hemispheric parts 2a from which the golf balls 2 molded by the plural cavities 3a of the split mold 1a, protrude. In this case, molding fins 5 generated on the surface of the split mold 1a are peeled by scrapers 18a, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23a almost simultaneously.
