PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a food capable of fundamentally preventing oral odor and faecal odor, extremely easy to eat and having deodorizing and antioxidative function and provide a method for producing the food. SOLUTION: This food can comprise at least one kind of catechin among catechins and at least one kind of lignan among lignans and further can contains residue after extracting fresh tea leaf with ethanol, having <=1 mm grain size, saccharide and acidulant and is easy to eat and has deodorizing and antioxidative function. This method for producing the food containing catechin and lignan, easy to eat and having deodorizing and antioxidative function comprises immersing pulverized material of fresh tea leaf into ethanol, filtering ethanol decoction containing at least one kind of catechin among catechins obtained by decoction of the ethanol, mixing the filtrate with at least one kind of lignan among lignans and forming the mixture. |
