PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ice cream inserted into a cone wafer, not causing the slippage of a decoration, capable of maintaining the smell and crispy touch of the wafer and having an excellent quality by inserting a conic ice cream having a coating layer into the wafer. SOLUTION: This method for producing an ice cream 5 inserted into a cone wafer comprises forming a conic ice cream 2 having a coating layer 4, inserting the conic ice cream 2 having the coating layer 4 into a wafer 3 and, if necessary, wrapping the combination product. It is preferable that a chocolate coating having the ice cream 5 in the inside covers the whole length of the conic ice cream 2. The ice cream 5 inserted into the cone is preferably produced by forming a shell 1 from a chocolate or any other proper material, pouring the ice cream 5 into the shell 1, freezing the ice cream 5 until the ice cream is frozen, inserting the shell 1 into the wafer 3, and subsequently wrapping the combination product.
