PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation transmission device capable of being easily incorporated into a carrier, and also capable of reducing the size of the carrier. SOLUTION: A rotation speed differential sensing joint 3 and a differential gear mechanism 4 are provided within an outer housing 2. The rotation speed differential sensing joint 3 and the differential gear mechanism 4 have each axis corresponding to the rotational axis L of the outer housing 2. The rotor 32 of the rotation speed differential sensing joint 3 is connected to the outer housing 2. The planet gears 44, 45 of the differential gear mechanism 4 are connected to the joint housing 31 of the rotation speed differential sensing joint 3 so as to rotate integrally with the joint housing 31.
