PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a work at time of handling a planar body by a worker by providing a suspension means with a spring balancer imparting lifting force substantially balancing with total load of a suction means, an attitude adjusting means, a suspension means and the sucked planar body. SOLUTION: Suction pads 11 are mounted in the vicinities of corner parts of a supporting frame 20 and at tip parts of arms 21, 21. An attitude adjusting means is provided with a revolving means making the supporting frame 20 freely rotatable with a center part of the supporting frame 20 as a revolution center and a lock means locking revolution at a prescribed angle. A spring balancer substantially balances with load of a suspension transfer tool 1 constituted of the supporting frame 20, a suction means and the like, lifts the suspension transfer tool 1 upward with winding force which is slightly larger than load and raises the tool 1. The supporting frame 20 is suspended by a suspension frame 6 via a suspension plate 34, a shaft part at a lower end part of the suspension frame 6 is made a raising and laying shaft and the supporting frame 20 can be freely raised and laid.
