PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an appearance defect due to lying down of flock even when a skin material is a fabric skin with raised fillings by providing a heat insulating member against a skin material-applied part on a molding face of the non-skin material side. SOLUTION: A heat insulating member 3 may be provided on either of the male or the female molding face of a mold but has to be provided on the molding face (here the male molding face) of the side which the skin material does not come into contact with in a molding process. That is, the heat insulating member 3 is set at a position corresponding to the skin material-applied part of the molding face of the mold. The heat insulating member 3 moderates the transfer rate of heat between the molding face at a low temperature of the mold and a molten thermoplastic resin at a high temperature so that the direct thermal transfer does not occur between both. In addition, the cooling and setting of the molten resin part of a base to which the skin material is applied, are delayed. On the other hand, the resin part of the base to which the skin material is not applied is cooled and set rapidly.
