PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric deionized water production device maintaining deionizing performance by preventing the scale deposition of hardness components in a concentrating room or in an electrode room, even if the water to be treated contains a large quantity of the hardness components. SOLUTION: In the electric deionized water production device 1 having a desalting room 2, the concentrating room 3, an anode room 4 and a cathode room 5, and also for obtaining deionized water from the desalting room 2 by applying voltage to a pair of electrodes, a portion of water to be treated in this electric dionized water production device 1 is passed through the anode room 4 and outflow water from the anode room 4 is passed through the concentrating room 3.
