PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for changing the direction of an electric wire capable of changing the direction of various types and multiple sizes of wires and surely preventing errors in measurement. SOLUTION: A device 31 for changing the direction of an electric wire includes a direction changing part 32 and an air supply means 34 provided with a pressure control valve 33, the direction changing part 32 having a semiannular wall 36 for changing the moving direction of an introduced electric wire 7 and guiding the electric wire 7. The air supply means 34 blows air into the direction changing part 32 to assist feeding of the electric wire 7. The air supply means 34 has an air producing part for producing air and a control part for controlling the air blowing conditions of the air producing part. |
