PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car seat which can secure sufficient support power against the back part of a crew in an ordinary time by equipping a backward movement allowing means to inhibit the backward movement of a seat back in ordinary time (non-back collision time) and to allow the backward movement (including dent displacement) of a seat back in an ordinary time (back collision time), and catches a crew in a condition holding the ordinary forms of the dorsal vertebra and the cervical spine by moving the seat back backward in a back collision time to prevent the dorsal vertebra from being straight and sufficiently prevent load generated on the cervical spine of a crew. SOLUTION: This car seat is equipped with a load receiving part 7 on to a seat back 2 to receive the load of a crew. A backward movement allowing means to inhibit backward movement of the seat back 2 in an ordinary time when acceleration is not applied forward by back collision of a car and to allow the backward movement of the seat back 2 in a back collision time when the load receiving part 7 receives a backward load.
