<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink compsn. for a solid ink-jet printer using a pigment satisfying both excellent low enough viscosity to keep flowing stability in ejecting the ink from a minute nozzle and no separation. SOLUTION: A hot melt type ink compsn. for ink-jet forms a recording dot by heating a solid ink compsn. at room temp. to liquefy and ejecting it on a recording medium, and its characteristics are; max. color saturation C* is not lower than 65 on a recording medium, hue angle HO in this case is in the range of -20-0 degree, and a color differenceΔE* when a xenon light of 340 nm having a luminous energy of 0.35 W/m2 is irradiated for 100 hrs is not higher than 5.</p> |
