PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the deterioration of a shift response and lowering of the quality by limiting a feedback compensation quantity to be within a limit and by preventing a change gear ratio command from exceeding a controllable limit change gear ratio. SOLUTION: A feedback compensation quantity limit value is found by subtracting a target change gear ratio by a feed forward control from a controllable limit change gear ratio found beforehand by a change gear feedback compensation quantity limit part 90. A torque shift compensated target change gear ratio for a feed forward control is compensated by the limited change gear ratio feedback compensation quantity with a limited change gear ratio feedback compensation quantity, which is obtained by limiting the change gear ratio feedback compensation quantity within the limit values, set to a feedback compensation quantity by a target change gear ratio compensation part 85 so as to be a compensated target change gear ratio. This method can prevent the compensated target change gear ratio for ruling the shift control from exceeding the controllable limit change gear ratio and avoid a problem of causing inconvenience in the shift control by commanding the unrealizable change gear ratio.
