PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent corruption of evaporating water after leaving it within a humidifier and to discharge fragrance such as a hinoki cypress by an operation of the humidifier by including distillate of the hinoki cypress. SOLUTION: Distillate water of a hinoki cypress is collected in such a way that distillate obtained from removing an aqueous content and drying roughly grained hinoki cypress woods by a device for removing the aqueous content and drying at a temperature of about 50 deg.C for about one week is divided into layers. This distillate water of the hinoki cypress of about 1 kg is poured into a home humidifier and the humidifier is operated to humidify a room. For example, an about eight-mat room can be filled with fragrance of the hinoki cypress in about ten minutes. Even if the humidifier is left for about one year as it is after use, evaporating liquid fragrant within the humidifier is not corrupted and the fragrance of the hinoki cypress remains. When the humidifier starts humidifying again as it is, the about eight-mat room can be filled with the fragrance of the hinoki cypress in about ten minutes. The distillate water can be corrupted after leaving it within the humidifier and can be used again as it is.
