PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevating/lowering jig for a cooking kettle capable of substantially improving the attaching/detaching workability of the cooking kettle and the take-out valve of normally heavy weight. SOLUTION: In the cooking kettle 2 provided with a food take-out port formed at a bottom part and the take-out valve 41 detachably attached from a lower part so as to open and close the food take-out port, this elevating/ lowering jig 73 is provided with a fitting part 75 provided vertically movably to a main body 74 and freely attachably and detachably fitted to the take-out valve 41 and an elevating/lowering mechanism 76 for elevating and lowering the fitting part 75 in the state of fitting the take-out valve 41 to the fitting part 75.
