PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a coating film with high adhesion without inducing a cost increase by soaking an object to be coated in a polyamide-imide solution and drying the adhering solution to form a precoated layer and further spraying a coating liquid on the surface of the precoated layer to form a surface coated layer. SOLUTION: First an object to be coated 2 is soaked in a polyamide-imide solution 1 to make the solution 1 adhere to the surface of the object 2 and the solvent content of the solution 1 is dried using a hot blast dryer. Further a precoated layer 3 is formed on the entire face of the object to be coated 2. In addition, many objects to be coated 2 are charged into a barrel 41 from a charge aperture 17 and at the same time, a coating liquid 4 is injected from a supply pipe 13 through a spray nozzle 14 so that the coating liquid 4 is made to adhere to the surface of the precoated layer 3. After that, a hot blast is supplied into the barrel 41 from a suction aperture 15 and thereby a surface coated layer 5 is formed by drying the coating liquid 4. Consequently a coating film 32 consisting of the precoated layer 3 and the surface coated layer 5 is formed on the entire surface of the object to be coated 2.
