PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating electric razor having a rough-shaving cutter head provided with a trimmer, in which the strength of an upper fixed cutter is increased and the reciprocating sliding movement of a lower movable cutter against the upper fixed cutter can be made uniform. SOLUTION: A rough-shaving cutter 7 includes an upper fixed cutter 71 curved into an inverted-L-shaped cross section consisting of an upper face wall 73 and one side wall 74, a lower movable cutter 72 making sliding contact with the inner surface of the upper fixed cutter 71, and a base 79 driven to reciprocate while supporting the lower movable cutter 72. A groove 80 is formed in the one side wall 74 of the upper fixed cutter 71 and a rib 81 guided into the groove 80 is formed on the base of the lower movable cutter 72.
