PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonograph that can accurately detect a position of an ultrasonic probe regardless of scanning position or direction of it, and can provide a high accurate three-dimensional ultrasonic image based on this position information. SOLUTION: The ultrasonograph is provided with a position data signal processing circuit 9 for calculating position data of an ultrasonic probe 12, an arithmetic unit 5 that uses the position data of the ultrasonic probe 12 calculated by the position data signal processing circuit 9 as position data of a plurality of ultrasonic images collected in an image collecting unit 3 and creates a three-dimensional ultrasonic by image-processing of these images, a position data check portion 10 for monitoring a position detecting state based on a signal from a receiver 7, and a display unit 6 for displaying a given message based on the position detecting state monitored by this position data check portion 10. |
