PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely seal a nozzle by providing an engagement projection which prohibits a cap holder which has a cap for sealing a nozzle open face of a recording head and which is stored in a state to be urged upward from moving upward and downward and setting a stop part to the cap holder. SOLUTION: A stop part 67 is formed to a first cap holder 60 and a stop part 77 is formed to a second cap holder. The cap holders are stored in a holder reception member 40 in a state in which the cap holders are urged upward by springs 61, 62 and 71, 72, and held at a recessed part in a manner to be able to oscillate. The stop parts 66, 67 of the cap holder 60 and stop parts 76, 77 of the cap holder 70 are engaged with engagement projections 40a, 40b. This engagement restricts an upward shift, so that the cap holders 60, 70 can move downward against a repulsion force of the springs 61, 62, 71, 72. Since the cap holders can oscillate in the state, a nozzle can be sealed by the springs when the cap holders even if slightly inclined butt against a recording head. |
