PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent equipment from being damaged due to vertical vibration by restraining the amplitude of vertical vibration by means of a spring mechanism itself even if excessive vertical excitation force is applied to the equipment and the side of a support frame, and reduce transportation cost by making its transportation means for the aforesaid equipment simple. SOLUTION: In an elastic support device for equipment wherein a spring mechanism 10 is interposed between the equipment or a support frame 20 to which the equipment is fixed, and a base frame 23 so as to allow a group of the equipment to be elastically supported, the spring mechanism 10 is equipped with an upper spring receiver 2 to be connected with the equipment side, a lower spring receiver 3 to be connected with the base frame side, a plurality of compression springs 1 interposed in parallel between the upper spring receiver 2 and the lower spring receiver 3, and with bolts 4 and nuts 5, which are inserted through the upper spring receiver 2 and the lower spring receiver 3 across a space in between to compress the springs 1 by way of the supporting plates 2a and 3a of both the spring receivers in such a way that the load of each spring is adjusted with the distance changed between the supporting plates 2a and 3a.
